About Brighter Heights Oklahoma
Brighter Heights Oklahoma is a community behavioral health provider with an office in Idabel, part of a network of outpatient sites serving southeast Oklahoma. Since opening in 1995, they have offered outpatient mental health care, substance use treatment, and case management for children, teens, adults, and families. Their care follows a trauma-informed, strength-based model in which clients help build their own treatment plans and have a real say in how services are delivered. They are accredited by The Joint Commission and take part in the National Health Service Corps, serving patients regardless of ability to pay and offering income-based discounts on essential services.
Their alcohol and other drug services address substance use along with its effects on family members and caregivers, and they place particular weight on social support as a foundation for staying sober. Clients can take part in individual therapy, group therapy with peers, and family or marriage therapy. Rehabilitation services, offered one-on-one or in groups, build independent living skills, social skills, and self-sufficiency. Case managers connect clients with charitable organizations, government agencies, and other community resources, and aftercare services help people transition home after a hospital stay or program discharge.
