About Brick House Recovery
Brick House Recovery is a faith-based outpatient addiction treatment program for adults in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, and one of three Idaho locations alongside Boise and Idaho Falls. Founded in 2014, they treat substance use disorders along with co-occurring mental health conditions such as anxiety. They see addiction as an illness of the mind, body, and spirit that heals through spiritual growth, and they build care around a 12-Step framework centered on a higher power while welcoming clients of any religious background. Their levels of care include partial hospitalization, enhanced intensive outpatient, and ongoing aftercare, so clients can keep living at home and working while in treatment.
Treatment unfolds in three phases. The six-week Chain Breaker phase runs weekdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at PHP and enhanced IOP intensity, combining clinical groups, individual therapy, recovery coaching, case management, medication support, and family support. The six-month Change Maker phase meets three mornings a week and adds life skills training, step work, and faith development, and the Hope Dealer phase then moves graduates into alumni meetings, weekly check-ins, peer mentorship, and service opportunities through their Lifetime Advantage program. Families are treated as essential to recovery, the founder hosts a free weekly live call for loved ones based on his book Live Unhooked, and clients are selected carefully to keep the group culture safe and supportive.
