Bluebonnet Trails Community Services is a community behavioral health organization serving eight Central Texas counties, and Seguin is among the locations where they offer outpatient substance use treatment. They work with adults and adolescents and treat addiction alongside mental health, on the view that drinking or drug use often masks deeper struggles. Care moves through intensive outpatient, supportive outpatient, and continuing care, with medication-assisted treatment also available. Through their OSAR program, they screen people across a 30-county region, refer them to residential or outpatient care, and help uninsured or underinsured clients find out whether they qualify for financial assistance.

The intensive outpatient program provides up to 10 hours of services a week, combining educational and skill-building groups, process groups, one-on-one counseling, and peer interaction. Day and evening groups run on a rolling 9-week cycle, so people can join at any point without putting work, school, or family on hold, and the curriculum includes art and music therapy. Their MAT services pair counseling with medications such as Suboxone or naltrexone for opioid, alcohol, or tobacco dependence, along with peer recovery coaching, overdose prevention, and case management. They also provide assessments for people with legal involvement, run programs in partnership with local school districts including Seguin ISD, and operate a crisis diversion center and an adult crisis respite unit in Seguin.
