BHcare is a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic based in Ansonia, Connecticut, providing outpatient mental health and substance use treatment for adults alongside domestic violence, children’s, housing, and prevention services. For clients carrying trauma, they offer EMDR, Accelerated Resolution Therapy, the Flash Technique, Seeking Safety for co-occurring PTSD and substance use, and gender-specific Trauma Recovery Empowerment Model groups that emphasize peer support. Wraparound supports include case management, supervised and supportive housing, employment services, jail diversion, young adult services, and integrated primary care. They accept commercial insurance, HUSKY/Medicaid, and Medicare, with a sliding fee scale for those who need it.
