About Beths Place

Beth’s Place Recovery is a non-residential outpatient substance use and mental health program in Moorhead, Minnesota, serving adults and families across the Fargo-Moorhead area in both Minnesota and North Dakota. They build care around the person, starting every client with an assessment and conversation with a licensed professional, so nobody needs to know ahead of time what level of care they need. Their services include drug and alcohol evaluations, Rule 25 and court-ordered assessments, standard outpatient addiction treatment, and intensive outpatient programming (IOP). Walk-in assessments are available on Tuesday mornings, and most major insurance plans are accepted.

Treatment combines individual counseling and group therapy with support for co-occurring mental health concerns, guided by evidence-based practices, trauma-informed care, harm reduction principles, and individualized treatment planning. Beyond counseling, they offer peer recovery support, relapse prevention planning, recovery skills development, continuing care, and family support and education. Their care coordination is especially useful for people involved with the courts, probation, or child protective services, since staff help with those referrals and requirements while also connecting clients to community resources. Telehealth services make it easier for people to stay engaged when getting to in-person sessions is difficult.
