Bellingham Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC) is an outpatient opioid treatment program in Bellingham, Washington, and part of the national Comprehensive Treatment Centers network operated by Acadia Healthcare. They focus on adults 18 and older of all genders who are struggling with opioid use disorder, including addiction to heroin, prescription painkillers, and other opioids. Their care centers on medication-assisted treatment (MAT), which pairs prescription medication with counseling to help people stop using opioids and build a stable base for long-term recovery. Same-day admission is available, appointments can be scheduled around the clock, and most insurance is accepted.
Treatment begins with a thorough intake assessment so the care team can understand each person’s full range of needs before recommending a plan. Unlike clinics that offer a single medication, they provide either methadone or buprenorphine, and a member of the medical team walks patients through the benefits of each option. Medication is combined with individual and group counseling sessions as part of ongoing care.
