About Beckley Comprehensive Treatment Center

Beckley Comprehensive Treatment Center is an outpatient opioid treatment program in Beaver, West Virginia, and part of the Comprehensive Treatment Centers network operated by Acadia Healthcare. They serve adults 18 and older of all genders who are struggling with opioid use disorder, using medication-assisted treatment (MAT) paired with counseling. Their approach treats medication as a foundation for recovery, easing withdrawal and cravings so patients can stop using opioids, while counseling addresses the rest of what recovery involves. Same-day admission, same-day walk-ins, 24/7 appointment scheduling, and take-home dosing are available, and most insurance is accepted.

Unlike clinics limited to a single medication, they offer several options, including methadone, buprenorphine, Suboxone®, and naltrexone. Each new patient completes a thorough evaluation and meets with a medical staff member, who explains how each medication works and helps the patient choose the option that fits their needs. Medication use is closely monitored throughout care. Treatment also includes both individual and group counseling to support the emotional and personal side of recovery, not just the physical symptoms of opioid dependence.
