About Beach House Center for Recovery

Beach House Center for Recovery is a campus-based addiction and mental health treatment center in Juno Beach, Florida, set on a nature preserve about a mile from the ocean. They treat alcohol, opioid, cocaine, methamphetamine, and prescription drug addiction, with a strong focus on dual diagnosis care that addresses co-occurring conditions such as PTSD, depression, anxiety, and trauma at the same time. Their care is trauma-informed and individualized, and the levels of care include medical detox, residential treatment, partial hospitalization, a mental health PHP, intensive outpatient, and continuing care with alumni support. Patients can start at the level that fits their needs and step down as they progress.

Clinical work centers on individual and group therapy using CBT, DBT, EMDR, acceptance and commitment therapy, and mindfulness-based cognitive therapy, along with relapse prevention planning and access to 12-step meetings. Veterans and active-duty service members can join the Freedom First track, which is led by an Army veteran psychiatrist and offers trauma-focused options like Accelerated Resolution Therapy and BioSound therapy, as well as attention to TBI-related concerns. The center accepts several TRICARE plans and participates in VA Community Care Network Region 3. Treatment is rounded out by a family program with education and counseling for loved ones, plus complementary services such as yoga, massage, acupuncture, chiropractic care, personalized nutrition, and sunrise beach meditations.
