About Aspire Indiana Health
Aspire Indiana Health is a community health organization with a health center in Carmel, Indiana, where primary medical care and behavioral health treatment are offered side by side so physicians, therapists, and other staff can coordinate a person’s care. They treat children and adults dealing with substance use, depression, anxiety, trauma, and other mental health concerns, with outpatient options that include an extended outpatient program and medication-assisted recovery. New behavioral health patients can be seen through Same Day Access at the Carmel site, and walk-ins, video visits, and ASL interpreting are available. They accept Medicaid, Medicare, and CHIP, offer a sliding fee scale based on income and family size, and do not turn people away for inability to pay.
Aspire’s recovery services cover individual, group, and family therapy, co-occurring disorders treatment, relapse prevention, drug screening, and adolescent programs such as First Steps and SAFE. For people who need more structure, they run the Whole Health Recovery Continuum with Progress House, which links residential treatment at Mockingbird Hill Recovery Center in Anderson, a men’s recovery residence at Progress House in Indianapolis, and two-person sober apartments through the Next Step program. Throughout the continuum, residents can receive primary medical care, behavioral health therapy, withdrawal management, medication-assisted treatment, 12-step and peer support, case management, and education and job training. People can enter at whichever stage fits their needs and move to more or less intensive support as their recovery progresses.
