About ARCH Inc
ARCH, Inc. is a long-term substance use treatment program and halfway house in Omaha, Nebraska, serving men in recovery since 1972. They operate two state-licensed treatment facilities, offer both residential and outpatient care, and treat co-occurring mental health conditions alongside addiction. Their approach blends clinical therapy with work, daily responsibility, and life skill building, with the goal of helping men rebuild stable, sober lives. They have held CARF accreditation since 2016, and licensed addiction professionals work alongside direct care staff who are present around the clock.
Clients take part in group therapy for peer support and feedback, along with weekly individual sessions focused on accountability and personal growth. Clinical work draws on behavioral therapies, motivational interviewing, interpersonal therapy, and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), which staff have trained in extensively, all within a trauma-informed framework tailored to each person. Residents hold outside jobs or comparable volunteer roles and share household duties like cooking, cleaning, and yard work, while relapse prevention planning helps them manage impulsive behaviors. After completing the program, men move into an aftercare group that meets twice a month, and an alumni association offers ongoing fellowship, mentoring for current residents, and community service opportunities.
