APS Clinics of Puerto Rico in Aguadilla is one of 16 outpatient behavioral health clinics across the island operated by APS Health, now known as APS ProClinics. They focus on mental health care, offering psychiatric evaluation and treatment for adults, children, and adolescents dealing with conditions such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia. For people struggling with drugs or alcohol, they provide substance abuse treatment that includes assessment, diagnosis, an individualized treatment plan, and support for family members. They accept most health plans and can arrange payment plans to help cover deductibles.

Care begins with an intake evaluation by a team of psychologists, social workers, nurses, and general physicians, who then refer patients to a psychiatrist when needed. Therapy options include individual, couples, family, and group sessions, along with psychosocial interventions, peer support groups, counseling, and coordination with outside agencies and community resources. Psychiatrists can prescribe medication to complement therapy, and telehealth by video or phone is available, although patients with addiction disorders and new patients are generally seen in person.
