About Another Way Inc
Another Way Inc in Farmington, Pennsylvania, is a state-licensed, 30-bed halfway house for adult men who have already started their recovery from addiction. They take a holistic approach to chemical dependency, offering some structured time while intentionally leaving room for residents to build their own routines, independence, and personal recovery plan. Twelve-step work is central to their philosophy, and they expect residents to work the steps and find a sponsor as they learn to handle everyday life sober.
The program is designed for men 21 and older who have a substance use diagnosis, are not currently using, are motivated to take part in treatment activities, and have been in treatment within the past year. Men with co-occurring mental health conditions are welcome as long as their symptoms are managed with appropriate medication, and a psychiatrist is on staff. Spiritual growth and meditation are part of the expected commitment, and living alongside other men in recovery is meant to build mutual respect and accountability. Care can be paid for through HealthChoices, county funding, or self-pay, and they are approved by Value Behavioral Health, Community Care Behavioral Health, and Magellan Behavioral Health of Pennsylvania.
