About Addictions Crisis Center
The Addictions Crisis Center (ACC) in Clifton Springs, New York, is a 23-bed, OASAS-certified crisis facility run by FLACRA (Finger Lakes Area Counseling & Recovery Agency), a not-for-profit that has served the Finger Lakes and Greater Rochester regions since 1973. They provide medically supervised detoxification and stabilization for adults going through acute withdrawal from alcohol or other substances. FLACRA treats chemical dependency as a treatable disease and takes a whole-person, strength-based approach that also addresses mental health, physical health, and social needs such as housing and employment.
For many people, ACC is the entry point to a longer continuum of care. After stabilizing, clients can move into Maxwell Hall, a 44-bed residential rehabilitation program at the same Clifton Springs campus, or Otte Hall in Newark, a reintegration residence. Both offer 24-hour supervision, daily counseling, and vocational and work-readiness services, followed by supportive living as a step toward independence. Veterans can transition to Cadence Square in Canandaigua, which partners with the VA, and people continuing with outpatient care nearby have access to FLACRA’s integrated clinic in Clifton Springs, which offers counseling, peer support, medication management, and help with co-occurring disorders, gambling, and family trauma. A sliding fee scale is available.
