Addiction Recovery Care (ARC) is a Kentucky treatment network, and their Ashland-area program is Bellefonte Recovery and Maternity Center, a residential facility for women with substance use disorders that includes specialized care for pregnant and postpartum mothers. ARC follows a Christian, holistic model that addresses mind, body, and spirit, combining clinical, medical, spiritual, and vocational support for addiction and co-occurring mental health conditions. Across the organization, care includes supervised detox, residential treatment at Levels 3.5 and 3.1, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, outpatient services, and medication-assisted treatment. They accept several Kentucky Medicaid plans, including Aetna, Anthem, Humana, Passport by Molina, United Healthcare Community Plan, and WellCare.

Treatment moves through phases, starting with detox, residential care, and PHP, with one-on-one and group counseling, a personalized plan, and AA, NA, and Celebrate Recovery meetings. Clients then work with their team to choose next steps such as IOP, a psychosocial rehabilitation program for adults with serious mental illness, or community support services, along with case management, peer support in sober living, and training in parenting, financial literacy, and independent living. Educational and workforce opportunities are built in to help people rebuild stable, working lives. At Bellefonte, expectant mothers can stay in residential care through pregnancy and after delivery, living alongside their babies while receiving prenatal and neonatal support aimed at reducing Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome, plus parenting skills training and help with housing, education, and employment.
