About Addiction Recovery Care (ARC)
Addiction Recovery Care (ARC) is a Kentucky-based treatment network with a location in Benham, offering care for substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. Their program is Christian and holistic, combining clinical, medical, spiritual, and vocational support to treat the whole person. Across the network, the continuum includes supervised detox, residential treatment, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, outpatient services, and medication-assisted treatment (MAT). ARC is CARF-accredited, licensed by the Commonwealth of Kentucky, and ASAM-certified.
Treatment follows a phased model that typically begins with high- and low-intensity residential care (ASAM Levels 3.5 and 3.1) and then moves into partial hospitalization. These early phases include individual and group counseling, a personalized treatment plan, and AA, NA, and Celebrate Recovery meetings. Afterward, clients work with their team to choose intensive outpatient, a therapeutic rehabilitation program for adults with serious mental illness, community support services, or a combination, alongside case management and peer support in sober living. Later phases focus on practical life skills such as financial literacy, parenting, and transportation planning, and then on education and workforce opportunities, with medical oversight by an addictionologist and spiritual care rooted in the 12 steps and chaplaincy.
