Addiction Allies is a physician-led addiction medicine and outpatient treatment program in Charlottesville, Virginia, with a second location in Lynchburg. They treat adults with substance use disorders involving opioids (including fentanyl and kratom), alcohol, stimulants, benzodiazepines, cannabis, and nicotine, along with co-occurring conditions such as PTSD, depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. For those facing unsafe or unstable housing, they can arrange no-cost lodging with meals at a contracted facility about 35 minutes outside Charlottesville, and they also offer HIV and hepatitis C screening along with in-house hepatitis C treatment.
