Adapt Integrated Healthcare is a long-standing community health organization based in Roseburg, Oregon, offering addiction treatment alongside primary care and mental health services for more than 50 years. They treat alcohol, opioid, and other drug use disorders, as well as co-occurring mental health conditions, through a continuum that includes medically managed detox, adult residential treatment, and an opioid treatment program. Their approach blends medical and behavioral care, and no one is turned away because they can’t pay, with a sliding fee scale based on family size and income.
Their 11-bed sub-acute detox unit gives adults medical monitoring, nursing care, and medication management while they withdraw safely, with intake coordinated through their Rapid Access team. Residential care takes place at The Crossroads, a smoke-free campus for men and women that has operated since 1982 and offers 24/7 nursing, individualized treatment plans, chronic pain management, tobacco cessation, family programming, and transportation to appointments such as child visits. The CARF-accredited opioid treatment program, with locations in Roseburg and North Bend, provides methadone and buprenorphine along with psychiatric care, individual and group counseling, case management, and relapse prevention education. Trauma-informed care runs through every program, and staff help arrange referrals for ongoing support after each stage of treatment.
