About 4C Health
4C Health is a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic serving seven rural counties in north central Indiana, including a clinic in Rochester. They began in 1975 as Four County Comprehensive Mental Health Center and now provide whole-person care that brings together mental health treatment, substance use recovery support, psychiatric services, and primary care. Their outpatient services are available in person, by video, or by phone. Anyone in crisis can walk into the Rochester location and their other area clinics during business hours.
For people who inject drugs, and for anyone who is pregnant or may be pregnant and struggling with substance use, 4C Health offers immediate access to care. Their therapists work with individuals, couples, and families of all ages, using person-centered methods such as cognitive behavioral therapy, EMDR, and motivational interviewing. When someone needs more urgent help, their Psychiatric Urgent Care and Crisis Stabilization Unit in nearby Peru accepts walk-ins around the clock for short-term stabilization and then connects people with ongoing outpatient care. Community-based recovery facilitators also visit clients at home to build practical skills like budgeting and coping strategies, and families of children with complex needs can use wraparound services.
