Specializing in addiction recovery services such as medical detox, residential treatment, and day/night treatment, accredited-facility Amethyst Recovery offers dual diagnosis care and individualized mental health services. Our facility accepts most major insurance plans and employs a CFO who works to assist clients in understanding how the benefits of their coverage work. For those who are uninsured, we offer competitive rates and a sliding fee scale because we believe addiction does not discriminate by income.

Care at Amethyst begins with detox. On-call medical staff are available at all hours, providing constant supervision for clients in the detox phase. After completing a personalized detox, patients enter residential treatment, which is a two-week stabilization program offering access to therapy, educational courses, free STD testing and a four-star chef offering seasonal, nutritionist-approved menus. Recreational amenities at these phases include digital entertainment in each room and an ice cream maker in the common area.

Whether or not a client chooses to partake in detox, they have access to day/night treatment, which provides a stronger level of care. While we focus on psychiatric evaluations, medication management and cognitive behavioral therapy, we also offer methods of holistic care. This includes weekly access to massage therapy, and complementary biofeedback services and yoga classes. Also offered are meditation practices, expressive arts and weekend outings consisting of sober activities. Group facilitators at our facility add to our level of care by offering education in areas like addiction science, recovery philosophy, life skills and relapse prevention.

Apart from traditional addiction services, we also offer case management services for individuals who may be struggling outside of treatment. Our facility’s case manager works to help clients address legal issues, apply for SNAP benefits and search for jobs and sober living homes. Our case manager is here to help clients move forward after treatment.

When combined, the staff at Amethyst Recovery boast more than seven decades worth of experience in the field of addiction treatment. Many have personal experience with substance abuse. Clients will undergo therapy from behavioral health professionals who work under a clinical director who has received training in numerous forms of therapeutic intervention. Both the medical director and director of Amethyst’s day/night program have been working in the field for more than 20 years. Though their experience with treating addiction and co-occurring disorders is vital, it’s important to us to note that they both have first-hand experience battling these issues. They are both capable and empathetic.

Amethyst Recovery is located on the Treasure Coast and allows clients to form bonds with one another while placing focus on their recovery.
